March 29, 2009 – The Oil Region Music Fest date has been set!

 

You heard it here first!  The Oil Region Indie Music Fest has been scheduled for Saturday, June 13 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Seneca Street and in Pipeline Alley, Oil City in conjunction with the first Northside Business Association Summer Saturday Street Fair, and Open Studios in the National Transit Art Center.

October 2009 - The Colors of fall, 3-Day Nature photography workshop: This is your chance to get away for a fun 3-day workshop. Photograph great colorful vistas as well as old country charms including old churches, barns, and more. Come learn the techniques of fall nature photography with one of the areas nationally known photographers. Location: Buck Valley Ranch, a year round resort, and will run October 15th thru the 18th, 2009. (Arrive Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday after breakfast.) This class is open to all levels, and will cover both the basics, as well as advanced techniques. Come be invigorated with the cool air, and incredible colors Pennsylvania has to offer! Sorry, but class size is limited to give students more one on one instruction. Call to get more information on this great 3-day event! Cost: ONLY $570.30 – Includes, 3 nights lodging, meals, and lots of one on one photographic instruction and daily critiques! Hot tub available for those needing some down time from a full days shooting!! Horseback riding is also available for those wishing at a cost of $50.00 per 1 ½ hour ride.
