A congrats to a Venango writer who rarely gets his due (and his wife) - Fran and Judy Fry are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

A Voice Like Rhetoric plays Butler's Penn Theatre on Friday at 5pm and Meadville's Union Room (along with Speakerfire, Ayris, and God's Day off) on Saturday at 6pm. Both Shows are $5 at the door


Oil City's Latonia Theatre hosts comedy night Friday from 7:30 -10. $10 at the door.

Newmen plays Porters at Titusville tomorrow at 8pm Oil City's The Howling Dog Gallery Cafe on Friday at 8 pm and Oil City's Seneca Street Festival (follow Howling Dog Link for the a map to the fest location) on Saturday at 7pm.

Veteran Status plays Brother Bean Saturday from 7-9 pm. No cover

Jerome Wincek and the Old Hats
play a free lunchtime show at Oil City's Pipeline Alley

Remora Deign plays the Seneca Street Summer Street Fair on Saturday at 5pm. They also play the Barrow Civic Little Theatre on July 5th at 7:30 pm. Cover $5

Celloforte
hosts a CD release party at Pittsburgh's Club Diesel (1601 E Carson St, Pittsburgh PA 15203) on Friday at 7 pm $12 at the door.
