July 17, 2009 – Sit down already! Chalk Walks and Free and Legal Downloads.

Peter Greene makes a great point about the epidemic of standing ovations at Venangoland.


Gwen and Bruce Kahler were the driving force behind bringing national and local indie musicians to the area and giving them a venue to play.  Now relocated to West Virginia, the Kahlers have announced their first music festival in their new digs.

The Journey’s End Music Festival runs from September 25-27 in Harrisville, WV and has already confirmed acts like Soulmobile Eternal and Bread and Circuses.   Suggested donation is $20 a person for the entire weekend or $10 a day.  More details as they come.


The Venango Digital Film Association hosts professional filmmaker Daniele Wilmouth for a free screening and Q& A session  at the Crawford Center Auditorium, 511 Hill Street,  Emlenton, PA, from 7 to 9 p.m. on August 2nd , 2009.
