Titusville Council on the Arts is calling for entries for their Oil 150
art exhibition August 29-30. Fees: Professional $10, Intermediate $8,  Amateur $5.00, youth free; categories: Painting, Printmaking, Drawing, Photography, 3-D.
Cash prizes and ribbons.

The Allegheny Chamber Singers will present their annual program featuring scenes from opera at 3:15 up.m. on Sunday, May 3 in Ford Chapel at Allegheny College. The program is free and open to the public.


The Oil City Area School District will feature 2,000 pieces of art work, the best work of each student in the district, at their district-wide art show on Saturday, May 2, 2009.
The exhibit will be held from noon to 5:00 pm in the National Transit Building and Annex, 206-210 Seneca Street, Oil City.  Admission is free.


The Cellar Dwellers are looking for artists to do feature installations at our theater. If you are or know an artist who is interested please contact them through their MySpace.


Butler County Community College is once again offering its DRFT 165: Guitar Design course for the fall. Course is limited to 15 students and there is no pre-req. Meets MWF 10-12. 3 credits.
