November 4, 2008 - Titusville Council on the Arts, Studs Terkel, Color Your Own Electoral College Map

The Titusville Council on the Arts celebrates their 25th anniversary

The Pittsburgh Post Gazette remembers Studs Terkel:
"When I was 13, I thought Pittsburgh was the intellectual capital of America," he said in his '94 appearance.. . .Did you ever hear of Lee Meadows? He was the first major leaguer to wear glasses, and he pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates. And the second major leaguer to wear glasses was Carmen Hill. Guess who he pitched for? The Pittsburgh Pirates. In those days, anybody who wore glasses was an intellectual."

Color Your Own Electoral Map tonight.

RIP Yma Sumac.
