October 20, 2008 - OC & T Derailment, Costume Balls, and T-Shirt quilts.

The Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad derailed Saturday - no one was injured.




Award-winning fabric artist and author Louise Silk returns to Allegheny College to present an informal talk, titled “Transformation: Reuse of Materials for Meaning and Memory,” on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 12:15 p.m. in the East Alcove of Schultz Hall.

On Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Campus Center, Silk will offer a free workshop on making T-shirt quilts. The workshop will include a break for lunch – participants should bring a brown bag or can buy lunch in the Campus Center.
