The Oil City Heritage Society will host a program called "Oil City Wordsmiths" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8. The meeting, open free to the public, will be held in the basement meeting room of the Oil City Library.

In honor of National Poetry Month, I'll be posting a different MP3 poem each day of April
I'm in a Beat mood today, so we'll start out with Lawrence Ferlenghetti . Local poets, if you'd like to be featured this month with one of your original poems, drop me a line with an MP3 attached or contact me and, if possible, I'll stop by and record you.
Lawrence Ferlinghetti - "Thoughts to a Concerto of Telemann" (ripped from an LP of indeterminate origin)
Of course, if you're feeling a bit more whacked out on this April Fool's Day, you can always watch Croenberg's version of Burrough's Naked Lunch free and legally on Hulu.

Au contraire mon frere!:
